About this product

Acer FA100 solid-state drive with a capacity of 512 GB in M.2 2280 format. Connects via the PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and uses the NVMe 1.4 protocol.

Sequential read speed is up to 3200 MB/s, and sequential write speed is up to 2200 MB/s. The drive uses 3D TLC NAND memory and an InnoGrit Shasta+ IG5216 controller. There is no dedicated DRAM cache: HMB (Host Memory Buffer) technology is used, whereby the drive makes use of part of the computer's RAM. Write endurance is 300 TB (TBW, the total amount of data written).

Dimensions are 80 × 22 × 2.3 mm, and operating temperature is from 0 to 70 °C. Installation requires an M.2 slot with NVMe support — the drive does not fit connectors that work with SATA only.
