ASUS PRIME Z790-P motherboard in the ATX form factor, based on the Intel Z790 chipset: LGA1700 socket, DDR5 memory. Intel Core processors of the 12th, 13th and 14th generations, as well as Pentium Gold and Celeron, are supported.

There are four DIMM slots for RAM modules: the maximum capacity is 192 GB, and the maximum frequency is DDR5 7200+ in overclocking (OC) mode. For storage drives there are three M.2 Key M slots (PCIe 4.0 x4; M.2_3 also works in SATA mode) and four SATA 6 Gbit/s ports. For expansion cards there is one PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and three PCIe 4.0 x16 slots (x4 mode).

Video outputs are HDMI and DisplayPort, and the wired network is Realtek Ethernet at 2.5 Gbit/s. The board has no Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, but it has a vertical Key E slot for a Wi-Fi module, which is sold separately. On the rear panel there is one USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port (Type-C), one USB 3.2 Gen 2 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and four USB 2.0 ports; the rest are Type-A.
