ASUS PRIME Z790-V WIFI motherboard in the ATX form factor, based on the Intel Z790 chipset with an LGA1700 socket. Intel Core processors of the 12th, 13th and 14th generations, as well as Pentium Gold and Celeron, are supported.

The four DIMM slots are designed for DDR5 memory: the maximum capacity is 192 GB, and the maximum memory frequency is DDR5 7200 in overclocking (OC) mode. For storage drives there are three M.2 slots (M Key, PCIe 4.0 x4; the M.2_3 slot also works with SATA) and four SATA 6 Gbit/s ports. PCIe x16 slots: one PCIe 5.0 x16 and three PCIe 4.0 x16 (x4 mode).

Wireless connectivity is Wi-Fi 5 (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 (the Bluetooth version may vary). The wired network is Realtek Gigabit Ethernet, and the video output is HDMI. The board dimensions are 30.5 × 23.4 cm.
