Lexar NM790 solid-state drive with a capacity of 1 TB in M.2 2280 format. Connects via the PCIe 4.0 x4 interface and uses the NVMe 1.4 protocol.

Sequential read speed is up to 7400 MB/s, sequential write speed is up to 6500 MB/s. Random read is up to 1000K IOPS, random write is up to 900K IOPS (input/output operations per second). The drive uses 3D TLC NAND memory (232 layers) and a Maxio MAP1602A controller. There is no dedicated DRAM cache: HMB 3.0 (Host Memory Buffer) technology is used, which makes use of part of the computer's RAM. The rated write endurance is 1000 TB (TBW, the total amount of data written).

Dimensions are 80 × 22 × 2.45 mm, operating temperature is from 0 to 70 °C. Installation requires an M.2 slot with NVMe support — the drive does not fit connectors that work with SATA only.
